Michael F. Schulz
Michael concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, land use/permitting, litigation, corporate/business, and estate planning. Michael represents his clients before municipal and state regulatory and administrative agencies, as well as all courts in the Commonwealth.
In the area of real estate, Michael represents institutional lenders, municipal entities, buyers/sellers in residential, and commercial real estate transactions. Additionally, Michael has an in-depth knowledge of the myriad of land use regulations and routinely represents clients before various municipal and state permitting agencies which include, but are not limited to, zoning board of appeals, conservation commissions, historical commissions, and the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
On the litigation side of his practice, Michael’s broad litigation practice includes representation of clients in a variety of matters such as real estate land over use matters, business disputes, construction, municipal, trust/estate matters and adjudication hearings.
Michael received his B.S. (Biology) from Trinity College (CT) in 1998, and his J.D. from New England School of Law in 2004. During his time in law school, Michael served as an editor of the New England Law Review, and authored the note article Questions Blowing in the Wind: The Development of Offshore Wind as a Renewable Source of Energy in the United States, 38 NEW ENGLAND LAW REVIEW 415 (2004). In addition, during his 2nd and 3rd years of law school, Michael was a legal research and writing advisor to first-year law students. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and before the United States District Court, District of Massachusetts.
