We firmly believe that our client’s interests are best served when litigation is avoided. Unfortunately, there are times when litigation becomes inevitable and, in those instances, we are fully prepared to go to court on your behalf.

Municipal – Prevailed after trial in Land Court concerning the legal sufficiency of a 1913 road layout by a town.
Construction – Prevailed after two (2) day trial in District Court involving a breach of contract between a homeowner and general contractor which resulted in MGL Chapter 93A damages for the homeowner.
Probate – Prevailed after trial in Probate Court on behalf of
beneficiaries of an estate and various trusts involving claims of deceit, conversion and determination of title against the executor and trustee.
Municipal – Successful representation of a municipal client in Superior Court resulting in the dismissal of a group of abutters who appealed a local zoning board’s issuance of a Chapter 40B Comprehensive Permit.
Environmental– Successful representation of a municipal client resulting in the dismissal of a DEP appeal to an affordable housing development.
Real Estate – Prevailed after eleven (11) day trial in Land Court concerning a boundary dispute in Truro.
Like any party involved in a dispute, our goal is to reach a satisfactory result for our clients without going to court.
